On Tuesday, May 22nd the National Cleaner Production Programme launching event was held from 10:00am to 12:00am at the Jazz Hotel Conference Hall. The launch on 22nd May provided an opportunity to learn at first hand how enterprises, organizations, and government might benefit from the NCPP and the international efforts it is part of. 

The NCPP is a milestone initiative to support the transition to green industry for sustainable development and low carbon growth in Moldova. The NCPP was initiated in late 2011 with funding support from the Government of Austria following the successful completion of preparatory activities during 2009 - 2010 funded by the Government of the Czech Republic.
